Joe - This might intrerest you - Back in the early 90's I had heard that the molds fro the HA had been sold to a guy in Florida and was hoping to re-introduce the boats -not sure if this would have been just the catboat or all the models...and as far as I know it never got off the ground.  Anyway eventually as you know the molds made there way to Com-pac where they were modified to be their Horizon Cat. Well, a guy over at the CBA site is selling what he claims is a 1994 build of the Herreshoff cat (in a tabernacle marconi rig no less) - other then the ports looking like the old Herman Cats (round) looks to me like a Herreshoff America. maybe you can find out if this is a "one off" from before Com-Pac?

What's is one good looking red hull - Painted or Gel coated ?  Big Differance in Price ...... $ 1200.00 for Paint Job and $ 4000.00 for Gel Coat Job !
