The Herreshoff Harbor Pilot  will be cruising the waters of Little Egg Inlet >One of the more reliable inlets on New Jersey's coast, Little Egg Inlet is located 10 miles northeast of Absecon Inlet ( AC ) and 22 miles southwest of Barnegat Inlet….. Including Beach Heaven , Long Beach Island ( LBI ) , Tuckerton , Mystic Island , Barnegat ( back waters) and on weekends Cruising to Atlantic City to the New Golden Nugget Casino Marina ( old Trump Marina ) !  The new owners Dave & Denise ( Great People ) intent to use the Pilot has much as they can with their friends and Dave will also fish for Striped Bass in the fall season , it’s the prefect boat to troll 4 to 6 knots for Stripers …… Dave will announce her new name shortly, so be on the look out for this Herreshoff Harbor Pilot if you’re navigating through the above waters…… \

Yes ….. My little Red Hull #63 – Herreshoff Harbor Pilot has finally found a “Good Home Port “on Curlew Lagoon in Tuckerton, NJ 08087. She was delivered to Ocean City ,NJ has a Brand New Boat and has manage to stay in New Jersey since 1974 to present ……

Notice the starboard side top deck molding has a cut out > that's where the new fuel tank full hose clamp needed to be connected to the replacement fuel tank , most guys put a piece of teak trim or inspection port hole plate to cover the cut out .  The Fuel tank was installed at the factory ,before the top deck & side molding was installed , never thinking that 38 years later a new fuel tank would be needed !  If you look and my old pilot and now Dave & Denise new Pilot > there is NO hole to cover up , because I invented a custom tool to install the hose clamp to the tank and to the orginial bronze fill cap neck connection ......  8)

Well, I have been looking for a Bass Flag Pole Holder for the last two years , almost had one on eBay , but lost it to a last minute higher bidder and the bid was only a $ 1.00 more than my bid !

Told Dave that he may have a problem finding a Bass Pole Holder and have him the Wooden Flag Pole !  Its only a week later a " The Pug Tug " has a Bass Flag Pole Holder installed on her transom ?  Dave - told me I had been looking in the wrong places , that infact most chome cover flag pole holders were solid bass and chrome plated , so he sanded off the top of a chrome plated holder down to the bass and then polish it up !
Pictures don't tie .....
