Herreshoff Catalogue
« on: December 18, 2009, 05:04:38 AM »
Seems Cape Cod Shipbuilding has a bunch of the original (1935?) Heffer years books/catalogue and are selling them. I assume when the Goodwins took over what was left of the Herreshoff inventory these were taken as well. They want 200.00 and are "new"....kind of neat. See their "Facebook" site for info....

Thanks Adam.  I bought mine on eBay some years back and paid way less than $200.  From what I have seen lately, though, that is quite a fair price for a "brand new" one.

Yeah I have one used in "OK" condition (pretty soiled cover, boards rebound) but it's all there and the inside pages are in good condition. My Dad picked it up probably 30 years ago in NYC....But "new" ones are pretty cool. They are supposedly numbered, but not signed (mine was signed to a "C D DeGaulle") - and I've always been hopeful it was THE Charles de Gaulle, but it is rather unlikely! ;D
