In studying that picture of the race start, that sure looks like "Target"'s sail plan second from the left and slightly to windward of the lead boat. You can tell her by the varnished mast, large main and small jib.
We kept H-12 (Bullseye Class) sail #9 on the Amityville Creek from 1964-1980. After she was donated to the HMM, we got a gaff-rigged Doughdish to replace her. Dad always raced "Target" in the Handicap B division, when h wasn't the Committee Boat with his 1929 Matthews "Wild Duck".
Today, I have the Doughdish, while my brother has the Matthews. Dad gets to go out when he wants, but none of the maintenance!
By the way: the Narrasketuck Class is by far the most popular one-design on the bay today.
