The 6th Classic Yacht Symposium will be held at the Herreshoff Marine Museum on May 2 - 4, 2014. 2014 is the centennial year for the 12-1/2, the Buzzards Bay 25, and the Newport 29. The Symposium committee is soliciting "short papers" on topics related to the centennial boats. If you are interested in preparing a paper, you have until June 28th to submit an abstract of only 50 words or so that describe what you propose to discuss. Having participated in the past, I can report that the Symposia are great events and preparing a paper is a rewarding experience.
