Over the past few years, several HMCo boats have appeared and disappeared from the online 'for sale' listings. Does anyone know the current status of these ... owner, name, whereabouts, etc. ?

Wasn't Gamecock - the R - the one Dave Peterson restored while also doing those two S-Boats for Tom Duce? If I remember things correctly, Tom said the R was sold to someone in Maine - and has been sailing up there....

Yes, it was. It was on Yacht World a couple of years ago. Located in Rockport, ME and for sale at $125K. I am trying to find out who now has her, where, etc.

Wow .. thanks Dustin. I have been searching for awhile. I spoke to a guy who crewed on her years ago. Do you know who the current owner is ?

To my understanding, it is a syndicate thing. The owner cant afford/ doesn't want to pony up the cash for her restoration; so, he has given part ownership to a local shipwright named Eric who is restoring her in his spare time in exchange for a portion of profits when she is sold. Some of this is, of course hearsay; but,I do know that Eric is by far the most knowledgeable shipwright on the island, so she is in good hands.
