Title: Advice needed - new halyards for my HA18
Post by: Desmohead on July 16, 2011, 04:55:06 AM
I'm glad to say that I've just returned from a week of sailing my newly acquired HA18. what a great time! I'd like to replace the well worn 3/8 halyards and topping lift with new ones. Does anyone know the lengths I would need? Also I'm considering stepping down to 5/16. Would anyone advise against this?

Thanks!

Don't know 100% but I'd guess the Marshall Sanderling is close enough that the rigging would be almost the same :

If you want 100% sure post at one of the catboat Forums or give Herreshoff Designs a ring in Bristol, RI.
