Does anyone know the whereabouts, or fate, of Nat's GLORIANA ?

I'll have to look, but I remember reading one time she was broken up - I want to say 20's or 30's. Wasp as well.....

"After Laying her up for the winter off his Newport Estate, E.D. Morgan - perhaps fearing defeat by WASP, the new 1892 Herreshoff 46-footer - sold GLORIANA before her second season. In other hands, her useful life spanned some 18 years."(Herreshoff of Bristol, Bray /Pinheiro 1989)

Guess she was broken up around 1918-1920...I do remember reading someone describing the rotting hull as she was already forgotten..

Thanks Adam.  She was built in 1891, so that leaves her to about 1910.  She was in Boston after her first year, but somewhere I saw an owner sometime after that.  If you happen across anything more, let us know.
