In Wooden Boat #203, there is a fascinating article by Maynard Bray about the restoration of 4 Buzzards Bay 30's. MASHNEE was restored by Darling Boat Works in Vermont, and YOUNG MISS, LADY M, and QUAKERESS III were restored side-by-side by French & Webb in Maine. MASHNEE was launched on May 27, and the other 3 were launched on June 22. By all accounts, the workmanship on each is exceptional. Congratulations to everyone involved. If anyone has launching pictures, please post them here.

Mashnee is moored not far from me in Malletts Bay on Lake Champlain. I have pictures of her at the 1981 Herreshoff Rendezvous with her modified cabin trunk. From what I understand from her owner today, her new cabin trunk was build side-by-side with those of the three Maine restorations.
