Miscellaneous Herreshoff Topics / How to Launch my 12 1/2 in Port Clyde, ME?

Hi all,
I have asked for Steve's help previously. We have had "Tournesol" (hull 1113) since 2003. Since we live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland but also have a place off the coast of Port Clyde, ME, every summer we trailer her back and forth to take advantage of the best winds in the summer. Most years we have launched and hauled her at Lyman-Morse in Thomaston, but the 10 NM journey can be tricky if the winds and tide are just right. (Also L-M closes at noon on Friday so that creates another logistic problem, not to mention the $$.) So I am looking for a better alternative.
We have a trailer, but no extended tongue. Also, we aren't keen on dumping the trailer in the salt water since we have no fresh water source to hose it down since our place in ME is an island. Plus, we don't have 3 people to help us try and get her back on the trailer for hauling. Any ideas?
We were up in ME (sans 12 1/2) a few weeks ago. I saw "Sora" (Jamie Wyeth's) was on the floating dock at Lyman Morse in Tenant's Harbor. She looked in great shape.
Does anyone have a contact for George Emery there since I understand he used to maintain some of the boats up there?
