Hi...while I am selling this collection...any Herreshoff fan can copy the listing which is pretty cool I feel...been a herreshoff fan ever since I first climbed this anchor and my dad began the reveling tales...11 German crew...in uniforms for the occasional "formal Sail in full Sherman Hoyt whitewears..theres a Burrows pic of this on the listing...and more back in the home archives. The boat was loved..and was sold because I was born...I have the letter of my dad realizing that 4 kids...meant that 3 boats over 60 feet..well: that era had come to an end. He read to me...well, we looked at boating books..every night on the left arm of that chair...right over there.
as to why on earth I am selling my favorite objects:
I hit some really bad luck...the crash lost a white house job of 16 years...as my role was eliminated by new tech...then just as I got on my feet: a bad car wreck & healthwise, a spot of cancer, so: to pay bills and get back to work.
(...my insurance was overseas and get this: they cover in 91 countries including Nigeria...but not in the USA. Our healthcare system...is broken...and absurdly exspensive. Broken back in 4 places..and had to wait two years in bed for disability...to find that out...all fixed except for torn nerves...cancer we are beating presenty...but lost the home...the car...so a rebuild will be done with the proceeds..and thus any feeds will be greatly appreciated! My buddy here is ribbing me..and insists I include..no! It's corney! OK: I'm a very smart good looker who is single..and upon my business cards has been written for 24 years: "Inegrity Ridden ~ Morally Bound"...ok? She's a gem..a married gem. A good friend Michelle...brought over dinner...OKOK! Because I always cook her family fabulous meals. she's typing now...ok, away young lady!
