to me

Attached find some old photos of the boat. It did not have the mast when I bought it in 2005.

This is not what it looks like today, I had an aluminum top put on last year. I will have to pull the tarps off and take some pictures of the boat with the top
.

Atlantic City Boat Show was off by 50% on its attendance.  New York , Massachusetts and Connecticut buyers did not attend this past weekend ......

Hi Joe,

Do you have additional information on this boat-engine, condition, location, price?  The owner mentions somewhere on the Forum that he has been engaged in restoration for many years, including, apparently, replacing the roof with aluminum?!?!

Thanks for your help.

to me

Hi Joe...it has been a while since we last communicated.

I am well into the Integrity restoration project.  I'll post some pictures in a week or so to show how the project is coming.

Squadron Yachts - " Scout " ........

I have a question that I hope you can help me with...Squadron Yachts used a copper drain fitting that they epoxied to rigid 1/2" and 3/4" tubing to drain various areas of the Scout.  I am replacing some of the drains with larger ones but would like to add a couple more like what was used.  Do you know where these can be purchased?  I cannot find them anywhere.

Thanks,

Phil Lawrence

Adam or Steve - Any ideas on where Phil could obtain a Copper drain tube plug ?...........

I only that one of these copper drain tube plug in my Pilot . It was in good cond. so , I never replace it , it was located in the Keel of the hull just before the transmission unit , which was the lowest point of the bottom of the hull .   It couldn't be seen if looking at the hull out of the water on land , unless you climbed under the hull and really looked for it !

Do these drains have plugs?  Could you use peened over and well-bedded copper tubing?  Perhaps a picture would help.

Best regards,

Irv

NO Plug ! ........  Yes, it is possilbe that a peened over and well-bedded copper tubing may work.

Updated Pic's - " Harbour Lite " ........
from
Hycoop Mearo

Joe,
Attached are some pictures with the aluminum top, I do not have any canvas for it ( it is still a work in progress). It was just too hot to use the boat in the summer without some kind of shade. I don’t know how much of a project you are looking for. The boatis a 1984 pilot it has a 2 cylinder Yanmar. The hull is sound and the engine run good, trailer is galvinized with good tires. I never had the mast and boom for the boat.

Cheers,

Skip
