A 1946 12 1/2 is for sale at http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/boatFullDetails.jsp?boat_id=1981509

One of the photos shows the builder's plate and one can clearly read "Herreshoff" and "2015".

Did or does Cape Cod Shipbuilding use a builder's plate with the Herreshoff name?

Its a Quincy Adams Boat - they used the HMCo. Plates - numbers 2000 - 2050 (or 2001 - 2051) according to Steve.

Also here are pics of the CCSB plates used. They have always been "square" even on the wood 12 1/2's from my understanding - however in 2003 they went to an oval "retro" look like the original HMCo. ones on the 12's ONLY.
