Artisan Boatworks 15 - Feast Your Eyes On This !!!!

Alec Brainerd and Artisan Boatworks launched a brand new Herreshoff 15 last week.  It has a full-keel and gaff-rig.  She will be calling Newport home. Go grab some tissues to wipe the drool off of your screen before you scroll down through these.

I have reliable inside information ... if you get to the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic next weekend, you could be treated to an in-person view of this spectacular boat!!

Was this the same boat the brought to the Cape Cod Shipbuilders show? I think it must have been...

I might get down - I'd love to take my son. You going?

I think it was at the Maine Boatbuilder's show.  Dunno about Cape Cod.

On Friday, I expect to be at the museum in Bristol to do some research for a paper I am doing at the Classic Yacht Symposium.  Then Saturday (and probably Sunday AM) in Mystic at the Wooden Boat Show.  If you get to the show, we should hook up.

Oooops ... my bad.  It is Artisan's KITTY, not MURMUR, that will be at the show.  KITTY is a new 15 launched in 2008 and has a dark blue hull.  It is also drool material.
