Got down for the day on Saturday. Didn't go out on the spectator boat but watched from shore - Eleonora was impressive. They had her under full sail (winds were light) - huge is the only way to discribe her - and fast. Bit disapointed in the number of boats, Seemed less - with more "others" non-HMCo. boats (Sea Sprites, Catboats, etc.) then I expected. In fact a number of the boats at the morings (The HMM 12.5's, S Boat's, etc.) didn't even race - not enough Skippers/Crew maybe? From the looks of the tent and seating, they had as many folks for the Clam Bake though - guess lots of folks came but without boats this year? Looked to be about 9 H-12 1/2's. Didn't see any "new" but couldn't get close enough to be sure. I'll be down for the CYR in mid September, see if anything shows up then.
