Started sanding the water line , to come down a few inches , before using the Farrow Blasting System , because of the New Red GelCoat paint job and found that the White boot stripe is really White GelCoat and is 2X the wide as shown in the photo's below ....

Infor. on the above Photo's

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you notice the deck floor had been cut out around the rear of the Transmission ….. The Rear Main Seal had been replaced on the transmission also I notice that any replacement parts on the motor were red in color or unpainted …. Well it appears that the fresh water, oil & fuel pumps along with the alternator, starter solenoid , one pulley , fuel filter canister plus lines, and belts had all been replaced at one time or another …...

Also it appears that I had a very small fuel leak from one of the fuel lines ...... from the photo's above it also shows transmission fluid in the bilge , but it was left over from the leaky rear main seal – the new seal looks very resend ,maybe less than a year old ?

Nowalk & Williams Company ( square plate ) and SQUADRON YACHTS,INC ( round plate)– were builders of these six models Hull’s – in the early 70’s thru early 80’s both from Bristol, Rhode Island ! My Pilot has both Bronze plates ? Wonder if they both had a joint venture in building the Herreshoff Harbor Pilot ?

I believe Squadron Yachts took over the 18 after Nowank & Williams shut down (for what reason I don't know).

What is The Farrow System®?

The Farrow System® is a revolutionary, cost effective, and environmentally safe surface cleaning and preparation method that quickly removes coatings, oxidation, dirt, and graffiti from most surfaces without damaging them.

Why do you say it will do the impossible?

The Farrow System® will clean surfaces that are impossible to clean using any other method, and at speeds that will leave you amazed! It will remove the toughest coatings, yet is easily adjusted to clean the most fragile surfaces without damage. From removing corrosion on a battleship to the printed label on an aluminum soda can, The Farrow System® does it all!

How long has The Farrow System® been in use?

The Farrow System® was introduced in 1998 to the marine industry in order to efficiently and safely remove anti-foul coatings from the hulls of boats. The Farrow System's® controlled cleaning technique left the fiberglass, wood and steel surfaces of the underlying boat hulls free from damage and amazingly clean. The range of applications quickly expanded for the Farrow System® and today it is used around the world as an environmentally friendly cleaning solution both inside and outdoors.

Is The Farrow System® safe? How about its environmental impact?

The Farrow System® is environmentally friendly and doesn't use any chemicals or chemical byproducts. Our Farrow Green Clean® cleaning media is non-toxic which means that after use, it can be disposed of easily and properly. Dust levels are suppressed within the vaporized elements of Farrow Green Clean® , therefore allowing this extremely low-pressure cleaning method to be used safely outdoors, within populated urban areas and even in enclosed environments.

How quickly does The Farrow System® clean?

After a short set up time of about 15 minutes, precise and evenly textured finishes on virtually all surfaces are easily achieved in a fraction of time. Initial cleaning procedures are fast, and surface cleaning speeds are at least twice as fast as outdated abrasive blasting methods.

How easy is The Farrow System® to use?

Operating The Farrow System® is as easy as washing your car. No special skills are required to begin cleaning. After a short learning period, an operator can achieve a wide range of cleaning finishes by making minor adjustments to the air pressure, water distribution and Farrow Green Clean® media sizes. Operators have a full 180 degree view of the surfaces being cleaned through the vapor-like cleaning stream.

How costly is The Farrow System® to use?

Because cleaning speeds are so quick, media usage is typically less than half that of conventional abrasive blasting. Project start to finish times are typically cut in half, saving labor costs and keeping you on schedule. With the controlled accuracy and low pressures used by The Farrow System®, little or no tenting or containment is required to protect adjacent buildings, equipment, or the general public. The all natural Farrow Green Clean® media is easy to sweep up and dispose of when the job is done.

Is The Farrow System® a unique process?

Scientific tests have shown that the heat incorporated in The Farrow System® is key to the speed and precision of the cleaning process. No one else uses heat to clean like The Farrow System®, and no one else uses the proprietary Farrow Green Clean®. And no one else can clean what The Farrow System® can clean. The revolutionary Farrow System® cleaning process is patented throughout the world.

Do you support your customers after the sale?

While cleaning some jobs may be similar, there is no such thing as a 'standard' or 'typical' job, the size and nature of any project is so wide-ranging. The Farrow System® is supported by cleaning specialists, engineers, service technicians, and overnight shipping of OEM replacement parts. Farrow Green Clean® media is only a phone call away at 1-888-FARROW-8. We keep your machine operating and your jobs on schedule. The Farrow System® machines are built in the USA to the highest quality standards with one goal in mind: to insure top customer productivity and satisfaction!
