WOW – I went down to Cape May, NJ to have lunch today, at the famous Lobster House Restaurant, and a foto came over my Blackberry of my Westerbeke engine installed in my Herreshoff Harbor Pilot …… Just the other day I had started bitching at my staff , why the bosses’ boat always comes last... Go figure ?

My mother and I just finished restoring a 18' pilot. Beautiful teak, had to rebuild the deck because the balsa core was rotten. I will post before and after pics when the boat is launched. Also got a sail for it custom made by Thurston sails. THe boat is located on cape cod.... It took a lot of work but it is certainly something to be proud of!!!

Was anyone successful in getting pictures or information on the 18 Yacht Club Launch. I am looking at a 74 and am having trouble finding anything. Were these all that rare?
