fitzgerld106@comcast.net info@herreshoffregistry.org via p3slh017.shr.phx3.secureserver.net to me

show details Mar 30 (11 days ago)

New here and don't know if this will go thru or how I might get an answer.

Saw an 18 with NJ reg. lissted last night with a lot of pictures of it. I think it may have been yours. Went home and on a different computer tried to find it again to show someone else. GONE? Can't find it anywhere.

Any info on that boat?
thanks
Walt  Not very good with computers.

By changing out the old 23ft dual axle trailer with the restored 19 ft dual axle trailer , now this boat can be towed with a small suv or a mini van with a v6 engine .......

We live in Florida and are interested in the boat. One question: what is the
headroom in the pilot house?  (We are interested in having protection from the
sun in the cockpit and wonder what headroom we would have if we had canvus at
the same heighth as the pilothouse when under way.) Also, is the boat out of
the water or kept in a slip? Thank you.

Thanks, Joe, but we wound up buying a Handy Billy 21 for the little extra speed.  Best of luck selling your boat.  It is a good looking boat.

The HB is a beauty - Originally a William Hand design - Guy up in Canada I believe designed and builds the HB21. There was a story not long ago in Wooden Boat.

The HB 21 in the photo was built by Geoff Kerr of Two Daughters Boatworks in Vermont: http://www.offcenterharbor.com/geoff-kerr/

A fiberglass mold for the HB 21 is for sale at Southport Island Marine in Southport, Maine: http://www.southportislandmarine.com/ordereze/1000/Page.aspx

Does anyone have suggestion in marketing my Herreshoff Harbor Pilot ?
Its been on YW & Boat.com X 2 years

Its been on eBay X 10 listing

Its been on Craigs List X 15 listing

One Sailboat Mag. X 1 listing

3 Boat/Fishing Forums X 2 Years !!!!!!!

Herreshoff Registry X ?????

Price started @ $29,995 > $25,995 > $21,995 > $19,995 down to $18,995  :-[

What can I do next to market this Pilot ??????

Invested over $25,000 ..... So, at $18,995 > its a Real Bargain !  Turn key Boat .....  ???????

Where are you going to find a Herreshoff Harbor Pilot in this condition 4 Sale !

I use to have a saying......
HURRY ON IN! BECAUSE THE BOAT YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING TODAY, MIGHT BE SOMEONE ELSE'S TOMORROW!
I now am going to retire my saying.....

My new saying is ..... " What Ever ''  ::)
