Well look e here Tom's VIN # to his Herreshoff Harbor Pilot .....

So, from the above VIN # of Tom's Pilot ......

TSPHP0450674 = Nowak & Williams Yard  , HULL # 45 , MONTH JUNE , YEAR 1974 .......

So, what i have noticed about Tom's Pilot is , it has the Original Bronze Anchor Light Hardware > which is very hard to find on these Pilot's .Two Front Custom Pop-Out Windows , A nice Pin-Stripe in the White boot Stripe and its a Green Color Hull which i believe to be the rarest of the color hulls pilots.

White Hull Pilots are the most common color hulls , then Red Hulls followed by Green Hulls .......

This is Tom's Pilot - original gas engine 80 hp , which was later replaced with a Westerbeke 30 hp diesel motor , out of a 1980 era 27 ft Sailboat .

I think my Pilot may have been started by Nowak & Williams Yard and finished by Squadron Yachts, > Reason, I have both Bronze Metal plates from both Builders on my 1974 Pilot hull# 63 and we now know that only 1974 built pilots had the Cat Rudder, in 1975 they where built without the Cat Rudder and replaced with the standard under hull prop protected keel/rudder connection. But my Squadron Yacht  title states it a 1975 model year , so could my Hull # 63 be the switch over boat , from Nowak & Williams to Squadron Yachts , so, far I have not come across a duplicate hull # between Nowak & Williams and Squadron Yachts in my data base of Herreshoff Harbor Pilots …..

A gentleman from Illinois, outside of Chicago, call today about my Herreshoff Harbor Pilot to see if it’s still for sale. He called last Summer and had some interest in the Pilot , seem his father had a 1974 Red Hull Herreshoff Harbor Pilot on the West Coast of Fla. and my Pilot bring back good memories of him & his father out on the Pilot !  This is the kinda boater I’m looking for; he will give my Pilot a good home …..

I contacted the pervious owner of my Herreshoff Harbor Pilot , hull#63 to see if i could obtain more history of my Pilot....

Jim & Margie -  I purchased your Herreshoff Harbor Pilot and did a
Completely Restoration on her !  I now have her up for sale , and a
buyer from Illinois , has asked me the history of this Herreshoff
Pilot . His father had a red hull 1974 Herreshoff Harbor Pilot in the
west coast of fla. back in the 70's , of couse he is wondering if this
could be his father's old pilot ?   Do you know any history of former
