Funny to hear from you at this moment. I was watching an elderly couple rig the gaff sails on their cat boat in Black Rock Harbor, CT. The hull looks as if it is a Pilot hull; it's bigger and fuller than the cat boats one commonly sees in NJ and CT. Did they build a cat version? Best, W

The missing Herreshoff Bay Fisherman Launch Foto .....take note of the Wooden Handle Gear Shifter and the Teak molding under the bow rail is an option on this model , but someone added a White Painted Wooden Splash Rail to this hull ....... Note it states 16 life vests aboard !

Hook « on: August 04, 2012, 01:23:41 PM »

Quote -Yes Hook has a new Home! She is at Northeast Sailboat Rescue, berthed at Brewer South Freeport Marine, and is already causing quite a bit of interest and buzz about the harbor!   I will get you out some pictures as time allows. Hook is now serving as harbor launch and bay cruiser for us and most importantly Captain our golden retriever!

Yea, I know it's cheap. It has caused some sad eyes in my house, my wife
and grandchildren loved "Hook". Just looking for a 19 or 20 ' skiff I can
trailer around a little bit.
Anyway, yes it is sold to Northeast Sailboat Rescue in Maine.
Sad day, but this too will pass. Had several serious buyers that I have to
contact as well.
I do have photos of Hook I can send if you want them.
Later
Peter

I took a trip today, up to Tuckerton , NJ to visit " Pug Tug " . Dave plans to install underwater , under gunnel and in cabin Lights ! If Dave keeps add " BASS " items to the Pilot , he may need to re-paint the water line on the hull  ;D  :)  ;D
