I am pleased to report that we are coming to the end of a 2+ year restoration of HMCo "Nellie." She was one of a few mid-sized racer cruisers commissioned at the Herreshoff yard. We have build a nice little website that chronicles the history of the boat as well as the restoration. We have posted hundreds of photos that can be viewed in the gallery section. Please visit
www.synellie.com Highlights of the restoration process include interior joinery work by Warren Pond Boatworks, mechanical and systems integration by Whiting Marine Services, cabin house and spars by French & Webb, rigging and sails by Nat Wilson and castings and blocks by Jim Reineck. It's been a fantastic journey and we are looking forward to launch day this coming October. I have a wealth of information about our process and would be glad to speak or correspond with those interested in learning more...
