Well I purchase a 1960 16 ft Comet Class Daysailor . She is all Ceder Wood , I already started sanding the top deck of this baby !

The Ribs are White Oak , but the rest of the boat is Ceder & Teak !

Id have to go back a few years but I trhink the fletchers in there time where very competitive in the class. I sailed some comets as a kid - Still a pretty strong class on LI on the south shore....

Updated Restoration Pic's of the FLETCHER 16 ft COMET Class Sailboat !
The unfinish strips of wood are 18 ft long Mahogany Trim that is going 360 degrees around the top side deck !
