I believe that is the 1938ish one that Dan is restoring.  He was working on it when we went out for the symposium.

The forward 2 stations are structural plywood stiffeners that will stay with the boat when it comes off the mold.

The bulkheads are used in lieu of frames as they join the P & S hull panels together, thus effectively making the forward sections much stronger. Think of the hull panels and bulkheads as "I" beams. The bulkhead material is of laminated 1 mil veneers, hence they are very stiff for their light weight.
