Doris is indeed a sad story. Last fall, she still was in Crocker's in what I would have to guess is nearly unrestorable condition. The owner told me that he might use her for firewood over the winter, so who know if she is still there. Maynard did a "Save A Classic" on her a few years ago, but the owner who responded ended up being unable to get the project going.
