Outstanding on 1371!  - definitely a new find. MAJO was contracted for in 1937.  Wooden Tangent is a cool shop...

1410 needs further discussion....Steve take a look - we had it as "destroyed" - from the database:

"Edmund Ferry, one-time owner of #1450, inherited this boat from its’s original owner, F.O. French.  It was named Mary Maid, went to the Duggan family in 1952 and to the McIntyre family after that.  It was destroyed  in a late fall storm in about 1960.  Note that #1408 was originally named Mary Maid, and was sold to F.B. Barden according to the construction record.  1408 and 1410 are 2 of the 20 boats from 1393 – 1423 that were not delivered as listed ion the construction record due to a miscommunication between the shop and the yard.  Consequently, since there is family recollection of Mary Maid being sold to F.O. French, we are assuming that the original owners and hull numbers of these 2 boats were reversed in the mixup."

So my guess is there was NOT a mix-up and really 1408 was destroyed?
