I was in on the original Green Parrot discussion and completely forgot about it. Still, the ad says "10 Meter" so you think of a boat that's around 50', not 27' or so like the various S-boats. Unlikely there were two boats named "Green Parrot", so I think the Forum is right about the boat.

In the latest Bone Yard Boats there's a "1902 Herreshoff 10 meter" named Rogue. The owner says he bought a print of Rogue from the Herreshoff museum, and his boat matches that print in basic dimensions, but there have been changes. There's quite a lot of history given, none of which proves that it's Herreshoff. A 1908 date is also given. There's also a not so great picture with the boat partially covered, and it has the general shape of a 15. I can't see any boat like this with a quick look at the log from 1902-1908. Any thoughts?

On the subject of hull plates, I have the original from my 15, Snipe, but I have a reproduction on the boat itself. Might be worth doing. Mine is the early plate which is much easier to reproduce than yours and came from Jim Reineck. I don't know if he does the later ones.

Miscellaneous Herreshoff Topics / Fiberglass boats built by HMCo

This may be old news to the historians out there, but I saw Dyer Jones, president of HMM recently and he told me that HMCo built a few fiberglass dinghies during the war. I know there's a fiberglass boat about a foot long in the museum but I didn't know there were any full-size boats. John Palmieri was kind enough to share this picture of Halsey in one in 1945. It's 9 feet long and looks enough like Cape Cod Shipbuilding's MK dinghy that I wonder if the latter was designed by Sidney. Anybody ever seen one of these? HMM doesn't know of any, but as Dyer said "they didn't turn to dust".
Dyer's family business, The Anchorage (Dyer Dhow,etc), was one of the pioneers of fiberglass, experimenting with similar dinghies starting about 1944.

That 15 in Jamestown is Endeavor, which was one of the last BB 15s to be registered at Beverly Yacht Club. It's a normal BB 15, and the bowsprit was added by an owner, can't remember if it's the current one or not.

I'm mixed up about this. Is this Vagrant I or Vagrant II?  Was it Vagrant I that became Queen Mab? I think they're both still around.

Thanks for posting the rest of the pictures. It's hard to figure out her sheer clamp. That board with the numbers on it
sure looks like one, yet she also has hanging knees and what appear to be short pieces of clamp between them In other
photos, it's hard to see any clamp at all, although they well could be hidden. Most Herreshoff boats did have sheer clamps,
although Clara has all hanging knees, but correct me if I'm wrong, I think Clara has knees at every frame, unlike this boat.

However, I noticed something that I think is very telling - the photo of the number shows a section of what appears
to be non-ferrous hull strapping. It's so tied into the hull that it's virtually certain to be original - and I believe almost
no one besides Herreshoff used this system.

Her general shape is the same as Trivia, Nellie, etc, more like the 12 family than the 15.

Personally, based on the strapping I do think she is a Herreshoff boat. Anybody going to san Diego?

Again, I'm interested because these, too are the same design family as the 15. I have Judy Rosbe's book and
know her slightly. I know the BYC has other photos that probably haven't been seen by many people. I will
talk to her and see if she knows anything further about both the BB18 and the BB21
