The Farrow SystemŽ combines the fundamental elements of nature - water, heat, minerals, and air - and forges them into a powerful cleaning system. Patented worldwide, The Farrow SystemŽ can clean surfaces impossible to clean with other systems! "A natural combination"

The Farrow SystemŽ adds heat to a low pressure mixture of water and Farrow Green CleanŽ, a chemical-free, naturally occurring mineral. Adding heat adds energy, creating free flow in the system and allowing air pressures can be low and still clean efficiently. This heat also causes the Farrow Green CleanŽ crystals to align before leaving the turbo nozzle. This creates a controlled, highly efficient cleaning stream that resembles a stream of darts.

This safe, low pressure vapor-like stream is directed against the surface to be cleaned. Upon contact with the surface, each Farrow Green CleanŽ particle bursts into multiple cleaning "missiles" that lift the coating from the surface. Each particle packs many punches, reducing cleaning time and media consumption significantly. The process is dust-free and leaves only a moist residue which is easily swept up and removed. "Cleaning method comparison"

Farrow Green CleanŽ is available in several grit sizes specially developed for a range of cleaning applications. It can take off just one layer at a time and it can also create controlled profiles specific to your application.

For my 2 cents' worth, I would go either way:  unadulterated as the designer(s) intended - or - an opening port would allow both through-cabin visibility (for the height challenged) & ventilation of the cabin.  In any event, any modifications MUST look professionally done & be in keeping with the character of the boat.  For what it's worth.

My .02 is probably not worth much but I have always felt that boats, cars, or widgets should be kept as "stock" as possible. There is usually good reason a designer designed it that way. If I must change something structural (IE I was really going to use the craft for some specific purpose and needed to add equipment) I would try my best to be able to return to original shape as easy as possible with as little structural change as possible.....

What is felt as the best trailer for the safe transport of a Harbor Pilot?  I'm anticipating one over the road retrieval (300 miles), then occasional launching(s), mostly for off season storage.
Bunks appear to offer the better hull support, while rollers appear to make the "on" and "off" easier.  Mostly, I want to be sure not to damage the hull in transport.  I appreciate your recommendations.

Bunks are far easier - easier on/off as well. Years of trailereing a similar Novi hull and I would never do anything but a float on bunk. Just MO....

Adam, I appreciate your response - can you be more specific?  I've spoken with a trailer dealer who favors rollers over bunks, but I've seen the stress that rollers can place on a hull.  That's something I want to avoid completely.  With respect to bunks, what would you suggest:  1 set, two sets, with or without rollers to support the keel?  Also, for the HHP, what weight limit?  Do you believe a single axle accommodating enough ?  Any insight would be most welcome.  Thanks in advance.

IMO - Rollers freeze. They need far more maintinence. They don't roll that well to begin with. Bunks support far more - and evenly. With a boat 18' which is fairly light they dont need anything more then bunks - single axle. In fact the hard part is keeping a boat on the bunks - the things are slippery (usually have a plastic covering on the boards which allows the boat to "slide" around).

Good Points - what about rollers for keel support?
